SAIL to invest `42,000 cr in Bengal

Ritwik Mukherjee Burnpur Steel Authority of India will focus on West Bengal as part of its ambitious expansion programme to achieve 50 million tonne capacity. The maharatna PSU plans to invest an additional Rs 42,000 crore in the state, the highest ever investment in the state since Independence.
