High-availability cluster, comprised of 2 RC18015xs+ and at least one RXD1215sas expansion unit, delivers scalability of up to 180 drives/1 PB, max raw storage beyond 1 PB, and point-in-time data recovery. Active/passive structure ensures services are automatically switched over to one server if other goes offline, and RC18015xs+, using Btrfs file system, provides quota control. Features include >2,270 Mbps throughput, 355,400 IOPS, 8–32 GB ECC RAM, and one PCI Express 3.0 with 8 slots.
