SME has recognized several professionals who will assume new board leadership roles in 2016. Installed officers include: Dean L. Bartles as President-Elect, Sandra L. Bouckley as Vice President, Thomas R. Kurfess as Treasurer, and Mark L. Michalski as Secretary. SME also recognized its 2015 Class of Fellows, who are selected once a year from among the highest achievers of industry, academia, and government, and nominated only by honorary, fellow, life, or professional member of SME.
