Surface Mount Insulation Piercing Crimp Terminal allows termination of RG174/U or RG316/U coaxial cable. Connectors use series of blades oriented to pierce center conductor and outside jacket dielectric materials. While creating electrical connection to both signal wire and braid (ground) in one operation, process eliminates need for additional soldering operations. Housing can be pressed down via hand tool or small press, and terminal suits applications with usable range of up to 3.25 GHz.
