SSAMSB Software Engineer Deadline for applications 21082019 Job Description For our client we are looking for an SSAMSB Software Engineer for their location in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Tasks and Responsibilities The candidate will be required to develop and test MSB software modules and produce related documentation requirements, design, coding, testing in collaboration with the ATSDCS team members and under the lead of the SSA project. The task will require collaboration with other teams involved The domains that the Software Engineer will cover are multiple in particular tasks are expected to include the following activities Analyse specification and system design documents Analyse existing software source code for possible reuse Develop, update and produce software modules. This includes design, coding, testing, and related documentation Participate in peer source code reviews Analyse reported problems and propose solutions. Adapt source code accordingly Analyse potential emerging change requests and propose solutions. Adapt documentation, source code and test accordingly Ensure maintainability of software code. This could consist in the updaterefactoring of the source code to keep it futureproof, highly available while it remains easily maintainable Weekly reporting to the Project Team Execute all tasks in accordance with governing quality, safety and security requirements and procedures. Requirements Higher technical education in Computer Science or Information Technology, with a focus on Software Engineering, or equivalent professional knowledge is essential Good oral and written communication skills in English are essential At least 8 years of experience as Java developer on Linux are essential At least 3 years experience with the Java OSGI framework are essential At least 3 years of experience with broker technologies Active MQ and Apache Camel are essential At least 3 years experience with unit testing and integration testing, as well as the production of clear, structured and concise software design and test documentation are essential Experience with developing ServiceOriented Architecture SOA solutions is desirable Experience with Enterprise Service Bus implementation and in particular with JBoss Fuse or Apache ServiceMix deployment is desirable Experience with SQL andor NoSQL and accessing databases from Java is desirable Experience with building and packaging RPM is desirable Experience with full software development cycle from analysis and planning to maintenance is desirable Experience with continuous integration and automated testing is desirable Experience with software assurance processes as well as with Failure Mode and Effect and Common Cause Failure Analysis is desirable Experience with GIT version control system is desirable Well organized, systematic in hisher work with a high level of autonomy, and able to report in a clear, structured and concise way is essential Ability to identify, analyse and solve problems, and to present key issues and recommended solutions is essential Cooperates and works well in a team is essential.
