We are currently looking for a Sales Manager to support our customer in Germany. Sales Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is an exciting new player in the geospatial industry dedicated to generating greater value from geodata. In this role you will have the following responsibilities New sales including account prospecting, qualification and lead followup Following up leads created by business development Develop and implement sound sales strategies and business plans Lead contract negotiation, proposal development, technical support, customer service, installation and customer training activities Prepare and implement account plansproposal strategies Contact perspective customers to build relationships, advise of new products or offerings and resolve issues Manage assigned territory to achieve sales objectives Develop plans to increase revenues and improve market position Plan and participate in technicalproduct presentationsdemonstrationstrade shows Recommend potential areas of business and newenhanced products to management. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Several years experience in a similar role Demonstrated experience in business opportunity assessment, preparation of customer proposals, negotiation of customer agreements and project implementation management In depth and sound understanding of remote sensing and GIS capabilities and services commercial and military would be an asset Persuasive, strong relationship builder with excellent networking skills Strong communications and presentation skills Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
