Sales Manager, Commercial Shipping APAC Singapore Singapore ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Sales Manager, Commercial Shipping is responsible for achieving the company growth ambitions and targets for new business in the Commercial Shipping Segment. The Sales Manager will have individual sales targets and create and engage internal stakeholders from across SES Networks to ensure successful closing of the sales opportunities. Collaborate with Segment Market Management and Product Line Management teams in the new valueadded product development for the Commercial Shipping Segment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES KEY RESULT AREAS Responsible for achieving quarterly and annual goals, by identifying new business opportunities in the Commercial Shipping Segment Develop multilevel and multifunctional relationships CLevel and Business Unit Leaders with targeted Commercial Shipping Partners to drive SES Networks Maritime solution sales that deliver valuebenefit relative to the customers respective business needs Manage the region with clear pipeline and order targets Support and work in collaboration with regional sales, presales, and product groups to achieve segment solutions and objectives Examine and drive growth opportunities through the recruitment of new channel partners Represent SES Networks at key industry events and trade shows COMPETENCIES Strong financial sales development skills Ability to build long term relationships with strategic partners Strong management skills and proven track record of working within virtual multinational teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required A demonstrated skill in making effective presentations Coordinate, as appropriate, with internal stakeholders and other function of the organization the support needed to close and develop the assigned strategic accounts QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in Business or similar field, MBA is an advantage Strong commercial sales track record within the Commercial Shipping Segment, with a minimum of 10 years experience Experience gained either directly through working with Commercial Shipping supplier client activities or previous Commercial Shipping ITTelecoms sales position Indepth knowledge of the Maritime sector OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS COMMENTS Ability to travel up to 50 of the time Ability to work independently, selfdriven and motivated Ability to work under pressure with aggressive deadlines We offer you A diverse workplace.
