Sales, profits fall for Actuant Corp.

Demand for Actuant Corp.'s products for the mining and energy industries fell off sharply in the third quarter of the company's fiscal year and pushed down sales and profits for the Menomonee Falls-based business. Sales in the period that ended May 31 were $320 million, a drop of 15 percent compared with $378 million in the comparable quarter of 2014.
