Salesforce confirms Slack takeover for USD 27.7 billion

(Telecompaper) Salesforce has confirmed a deal to acquire Slack for USD 27.7 billion, extending its portfolio of business software into the growing collaboration and messaging space. Slack shareholders will receive USD 26.79 in cash and 0.0776 shares of Salesforce for each Slack share.
