Salmonella outbreak linked to cucumbers sickens nearly 300

State health officials say nine Washington residents have been sickened from a multi-state salmonella outbreak linked to garden cucumbers grown in Mexico. The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has tracked 285 cases in 27 states since July.
