Samsung Electronics plans more Tizen smartphones this year: source

Leading smartphone maker Samsung Electronics Co Ltd plans to launch more handsets running on its own Tizen operating system later this year, a person with knowledge of the matter told Reuters on Monday. Samsung aims to build its own ecosystem through Tizen, which powers its smartwatches and premium television sets.
