Verizon Communications Inc. was the first mobile operator in the country to announce pre-orders for Samsung Electronics Co Ltd 's new flagship Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. But the carrier began pre-orders on April 01, which was quite a few days after Sprint Corp , T-Mobile US Inc and AT&T Inc. started accepting orders for the much anticipated phones.
