Written by Bay City News: California Parks and Recreation Service Ranger Patricia Scully was remembered this week as a very dedicated ranger who was "absolutely in her element," before her life was cut short in 1976 when at 25 years old she was killed by a drunken driver while patrolling state beaches along the coast near Half Moon Bay.
