We are currently looking for a Satellite Simulator Software Engineering Support to support our customer in Germany. Satellite Simulator Software Engineering Support Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climaterelated satellite data, images and products for its users. You will have the following responsibilities Maintenance and evolution activities Preventive and corrective maintenance, evolutions and changes and maintenance test procedures Support and development of the verification infrastructure Coordination of the production of new software releases or patches, delivery acceptance and installation onsite Execution and coordination of software verification and nonregression testing campaigns. User Support Provide software support and training and ensure operations continuity. Technical Management Documentation, meeting participation, routine reporting Contractor management at technical level and critical review of industry provided requirements and design definition Software engineering framework support Analysis activities for the GSI Mission Control Applications and Tools Team and development of tools. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in a relevant engineering discipline Several years experience with software management as described above based on SIMULUS Experience in developing and maintaining software applications using Java and C and objectoriented technologies, Unified Modelling Language Software skills in IBM DOORS, CVS and SVN, Linux, XML and Eclipse Experience with MICONYS ESOC components, on TMTC front ends CORTEX Working knowledge of space related standards ECSS and CCSDS Fluency in English is mandatory.
