Scandal-Hit Petrobras Publishes Results

SAfO PAULO-Brazilian state-run oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA published its long-awaited and delayed third-quarter results, but it failed to set a sum for potential write downs connected to a corruption scandal. Petrobras said it posted a third-quarter 2014 net profit of 3.09 billion reais , down from 3.39 billion reais in the same period of 2013.
