Schneider Electric net up 2.8% on Invensys buy

France's Schneider Electric SA said Thursday its net profit rose 2.8% in 2014 as recently acquired Invensys more than offset the effects of adverse currency swings during the year. The electrical equipment company said sales rose 6.6% to 24.94 billion euros in 2014.
