Seneca Resources appears confident that it will win a federal lawsuit against Highland Township over an ordinance banning injection wells.a In documents filed in federal court in Erie, Seneca claims the township will be unable to cite any court cases that uphold ordinances similar to the one adopted in Highland.a The township Board of Supervisors in January 2013 adopted a "community bill of rights" ordinance.
