Senior Analyst, MA Ref SES0864 Region Europe Location Luxembourg Betzdorf Company SES Category Business Dev. Strategic Management Position Staff Published 20160729 Context Within the SES Corporate Development department, you are responsible for developing business cases and valuation analyses, supporting inorganic investment acquisition recommendations to SES Management. Responsibilities Develop and maintain business case models that support evaluation of various SES development opportunities, in terms of strategic fit, market assessment, risks assessment, valuation and financials Support the team in identifying global development opportunities in line with SES strategic plan objectives Support crossfunctional teams involved in those opportunities assessments when required, and support endtoend preparation of presentations recommendations to Senior Management Support the team during due diligences of MA targets Develop new methodologies and tools as required to help the team Provide adhoc assistance to other SES departments as required, in business planning and investment case evaluation Experience Qualifications University educated or equivalent in a relevant field Finance, Business, MBA andor engineering degree being an additional asset Some understanding of the telecommunications and multimedia industry. Knowledge of the satellite technology business landscape would be a strong plus Mimum two years of working experience in a relevant field Strong interest for modeling and for data analytics with excellent knowledge of Excel Readiness to learn and understand aspects of SES operations and business Ability to work effectively with team members Strong communications skills and team spirit Strong analytical judgment skills Strong sense of initiative and autonomy at work Fluency in English.
