Senior Engineer in electrooptics and optics Deadline for applications ASAP Job Description For our client we are looking for a Senior Engineer in electrooptics and optics for their location in Kongsberg, Norway. Tasks and Responsibilities You will be involved in all business phases, from prebid activities, via bids and product development to the delivery of hardware that is installed in satellites and space probes. Your assignments will include marketing support, concept studies, design, analysis, assembly, testing, and documentation of our products. We work in small teams and each team member is expected to work on many different types of tasks. As the expert in your field, you will be called upon to contribute in solving interdisciplinary challenges. Our business is international, and you will work in close cooperation with our international partners and customers in the space sector. Requirements Expertise in one or more of the following fields optics, imaging sensors, optical communication, fibre optics, photonics or electrooptics Good knowledge of optical and electrooptical components Experience from space technology and product development is desirable Experience from business development is desirable Must be able to work purposefully and independently. Excellent written and oral English Good proficiency in a Scandinavian language written and oral is highly desirable What do we offer?
