Position Reference 777 RHEA provides support to our clients with consultancy support, research and the development of services security capabilities for resilient positioning and navigation systems including Global Navigation Satellite Systems GNSS Receivers. We are currently looking for an experienced Engineer to join our team in the city of London, United Kingdom. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Provide technical subject matter expertise signals in space, RF issues including ITU, signal processing and receiver technology. Delivery of customer focused research, development, consultancy and product support activities in the field of resilient Position Navigation and Timing PNT, including GNSS. Communicate ideas with multiple stakeholders and customers Contributing to projects, work packages and bids. Capture Analysis of customer requirements, interpreting these to define clear road maps. System Design, Development Testing of PNT products. Oversight of frequency compatibility ITU testing requirements. Assessments of, contributions to the SignalinSpace Interface Control Documents for all relevant services. Technical assessments of suppliers proposals deliverable documentation. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University Degree in a related discipline, or applicable experience. Deep understanding of the signals, RF issues including ITU, signal processing and receiver technology. Knowledge of Data Fusion Techniques including Weighted Least Squares Estimation and Kalman Filtering. Extensive digital signal processing knowledge including GNSS signal structures, acquisition techniques, tracking techniques, interference and multipath mitigation. Knowledge of Modelling simulation of navigation systems sensors Mathematical Modelling Algorithm design documentation MATLAB modelling Performance analysis, e.g. accuracy, integrity, continuity of service. Knowledge and experience of PNT andor GNSS technologyconcepts Ability to interpret customer requirements and support with the development of innovative solutions. Capability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, along with subcontractors and SMEs, understanding and incorporating their input into broader technical solutions. Experience of requirements capture, design and implementation. High motivation. Team working spirit. Experience writing and delivering technical documents and briefings. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, as well as organisational skills. Ability to travel at the customer sites when needed. British Nationality.
