One measure of success is the number of households connected to our satellite systems across the globe. Today there are 291 million and we continue to grow and develop new services with IP based and Hybrid services proliferating across our markets. The Senior Market Business Analyst plays a significant role in conducting studies that ensure SES understands market conditions and uses data to deliver insight and competitive advantage to our customers. The role requires a strong background in market research, the experience of managing studies of significant scale, the capability to deliver compelling analysis and present to Senior Management both internally and externally to customers from across the world. The candidate must drive projects forwards and gather support both internally and from market partners. As an important budget and data owner, a familiarity with CRM and Finance systems and processes is essential. In addition, the Senior Market Business Analyst turns analysis into business and product improvements and is a driver for change and innovation within SES. Responsibilities Conduct primary market, customer and competitor research in key markets and business verticals around the globe, working with leading external institutes Manage internal input to questionnaires design and desired outcomes For customer studies, gather contact list from various SES departments and use CRM for segmentation and clustering Efficiently manage market research institutes within budget and SESs financial policies Project manage effectively to ensure studies are delivered within agreed time frame Lead the internal and external communication of the results to Senior Management, Employees, Investors, Customers, Press and Market Partners, using a variety of online and offline communication tools. Ensure that data is presented as meaningful attractive information Based on the results and working closely with the Strategic Market Intelligence department and the Marketing Communications function, provide detailed information on SES strengths and weaknesses, USP and value proposition to help shape our Marketing messaging Develop and adjust research methodology to keep up with market and technology changes Advise SES colleagues with market research requests, regarding outsourcing to institutes, methodology, questionnaire design, etc. Experience Qualifications BA, MBA, Diploma or comparable university degree in a related field, preferably Marketing 35 years of experience in a market research area, preferably in the Media, Telecommunication or Satellite industry Experience of working in a B2B environment Fluency in English Other languages primarily German are considered an asset Computer literacy Microsoft product suite, Lotus Notes, Quanvert, IBM SPSS Sound market research knowledge Reliability and accuracy working with figures Excellent analytical and judgment skills Ability to set priorities and to work under tight deadlines Strong presentation and public speaking skills Good interpersonal relations and communication skills Teamspirit and also ability to work autonomously Proven ability to learn quickly on new technological developments Ability to work successfully and collegially in a multicultural environment Proven project management skills, good starter and excellent finisher not giving up until the results have been delivered Our Offer Competitive salary package, coupled with a diverse array of challenges and development benefits.
