Senior Project Engineer 1615124 Job Description We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to support our client ESA, based in Frascati, Italy. You will provide engineering support for activities concerning MultiMission and LongTerm preservation infrastructure evolution and customisation for the following missions Cryosat, Swarm, SMOS, Third Part Missions including LDCM, ERS, Envisat, Proba V, Earthcare, ADMAeolus, Biomass and Alos. Your tasks will be to Provide support to application maintenance of operational infrastructure followup and monitoring of industry performance of problems related to the MMUS and MMFI environment, Produce and maintain the MultiMission PDGS baseline, Produce the Requirement baseline for endtoend PDGS or major PDGS Facility projects, Provide senior project engineering for endtoend PDGS or major PDGS Facility projects, Produce the Requirement baseline for the PDGS component evolution projects, Provide project engineering for PDGS component evolution projects, Support the installation, integration and acceptance of delivered systems Support the transfer to operations Provide analysis of problems Provide support to the PDGS Validation activities Participate in coordination meetings Provide management of RIDs Review Item Discrepancy, SPRs Software Problem Reports and Action databases. Required Skills and Experience You must be able to demonstrate that you have University degree or equivalent qualification in a technical discipline, preferably in Computer Science Knowledge of ECSS, requirements management and acceptance procedures Knowledge of MultiMission and LTDP architecture Knowledge of multimission PDGS implementations and interfaces for user management, cataloguebrowse, dissemination, archiving, processing management, circulation Knowledge of LTDP knowledge preservation requirements and implementations.
