Tasks Requirement analysis Design of new software applications and components Implementation and maintenance of complex, mission critical applications Verification and validation of applications Leadingmentoring junior team members Qualifications You are a proactive, independent problem solver yet also a great team player. You are always trying to learn and improve your skills and abilities to the benefit of you and the team. Mandatory University degree in IT or similar Bachelor, Master, PhD or equivalent. At least 5 years of industry programming experience Extensive Expertise in C andor Java Familiarity with working in a Linux Environment Experience in common software lifecycles and agile development processes Experience with objectoriented design principles and Standard design patterns Experience developing large, missioncritical applications Experience in continuous integration tools Familiarity with modern software architecture and frameworks Fluency in English written spoken Desired Experience writing modern C code using the C11 language standard Knowledge of boost C libraries Experience with unit testing using the Google Test and Mock frameworks Maven, git, Gerrit Experience working in the space industry Experience in SCOS2000, or other commercial, institutional or open source mission control system platforms, or in ground station monitoring control systems Experience in space industry standards such as ECSS and CCSDS Passion about space
