We are currently looking for a System Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Senior System Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Sentinel6JasonCS project, you will carry out tasks which support activities typically related to Phase BC of a space programme in the area of system design engineering and architecture definition and have the following responsibilities Justification of the system design including producing and maintaining any relevant analyses and budgets General support to system engineering activities, such as Documentation of system design and interfaces Support to the technical coordination with Partners Support to segment level activities and reviews as required. Participate to System level formal reviews Application of the EUMETSAT configuration and change control procedures as well as the relevant system engineering standards and quality management procedures. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant extensive work experience University degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline Large scale systems engineering and architectural design Demonstrated ability to analyse systems from an endtoend perspective Capability to prepare design documents, to perform systemlevel analyses and to produce and maintain technical budgets Earth observation satellitebased projects, particularly in the areas of nearreal time data processing or spacecraft control systems Model Based System Engineering with the support of dedicated tools e.g. CORE Space and ground system engineering processes and standards Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
