RHEA is currently recruiting a Senior Telecommunication Satellite Product Engineer to provide support of activities in the Flight Heritage Products and Hosted Payloads Implementation Section for Telecommunication Satellites at our clients premises in Harwell, UK. Tasks and Activities You will be responsible for the management of activities devoted to the development of platform and payloads products for telecommunications satellites including products and hosted payloads ready to gain flight heritage. The scope of work shall include Lead design reviews on contracts between the agency and industry Evaluation, negotiation, monitoring and control of contracts and activities Support other members of TIATTH section on their projects and share expertise within the section Monitor market and technology trends and developments in the area of satellite communication Identify any issues during the procurement phase, running or closing of an activity, and flag them in a timely manner Support preparation of Papers for Adjudication Committees or Delegate bodies IPC, JCB, with high quality standards Provide input for the Department Business Intelligence tools Skills and Experience University degree or equivalent qualification in engineering Minimum 10 years of industry experience in telecommunication payload and platform engineering including design, system level analysis, manufacturing, and testing Experience in Management of development contracts for satellite equipment Experience in telecommunication satellite equipment design, qualification, AIT and inorbit testing Experience in payload technology and products for telecommunication satellites How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
