Hill: Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Chairwoman Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) opened Thursday's hearing on climate science saying she hoped one of Capitol Hill's chief climate skeptics, Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), would be able to attend despite a competing event. "What would a climate change hearing be without him? I certainly was encouraging him to come," Boxer said.
