Employing QTC™ (Quantum Tunnelling Composite) technology, QTC Ultra Sensor™ can be mounted behind 0.1 mm stainless steel or 0.5 mm glass sheet and still detect pressure of one finger on top of sheet. It only takes deflection of ~1 micron to sense touch through sheet, and sensor can be fitted as small piece of QTC sheeting or screen printed on back of steel plate as required by product designer.
