Offered in kit form, MT Series is available with Multi Turn Absolute Encoder option, which consists of hardware-specific internal change with external battery for back-up to allow tracking of shaft position when no power is being applied to SmartMotor. Battery attaches to Limits with I/O connector of MT series SmartMotors and uses home switch input. Back of battery case feeds out limit switch connector maintaining ability to still use both travel limit inputs but with no home switch input.
