Integrating High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) for hybrid cable, satellite, terrestrial, and IP set-top boxes (STBs), System-on-chip (SoC) chipsets help operators migrate to HEVC. SoCs integrate 1080p60 high-quality FHD display, 2000 DMIPs processor with broad middleware support, 256 KB L2 cache for maximum browser/hybrid performance, and security engine supporting CAS and DRM technologies. AUI (Application Unified Interface) facilitates chipset migration from H.264 platforms.
