Sewer Pressure Management Project: Alder Trunk

This fall, Environmental Services will install a valve and underground vault at the intersection of SE 7th Avenue and Yamhill Street to reduce the rare build-up of air pressure in the public sewer system that can occur during intense rainstorms. The valve will help to ensure the sewer system operates safely and efficiently.
