Share market rallies on strength in mining and retail

The All Ordinaries put on 38 points to close at 5,730 and the ASX 200 rose 39 points to 5,736. The spotlight was on the big miners after Prime Minister Tony Abbott added his support to calls for an inquiry into the economic impact of a slump in iron ore prices.
