Siemens receives order for offshore wind power plant in Great Britain

Siemens to supply 91 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 6 megawatts Order is part of the frame agreement with DONG Energy concluded in 2012 Race Bank wind power plant to have a total capacity of up to 580 megawatts Service to be provided by Siemens and DONG Energy over a period of 5 years Siemens has received a further order for an offshore wind power plant located in Great Britain: Siemens is to supply, erect and commission 91 of its 6MW direct drive wind turbines with performance enhancing features enabling a capacity of up to approx. 580 MW in total.
