We are currently looking for Simulations Officer and Simulator Procurement Support to support our customer in Germany. Simulations Officer and Simulator Procurement Support Key Tasks and Responsibilities As a part of the EPSSG Ops Prep Integrated Team OPIT the selected candidate will be involved in supporting the development of the EPSSG system. The support will include general Operation Preparation related to the Satellite Simulator. Main responsibilities MetOpSG Simulator procurement and development Support FOM development, prepare and execute simulations campaigns Anomaly processing workflow and anomaly reporting Simulator factory acceptance testing and integration to MCS Manage SIM scenarios, and support Ops Prep Simulations and SSVT validation Define the nominal and contingency satellite simulator scenarios Ensure proper training of the teams involved in simulation campaigns and SIOV Provide support to Spacecraft Ops Engineers in procedure validation Maintain Simulator operation guide and associated technical documentations. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in Engineering or equivalent Spacecraft simulation engineering experience based upon SMP2, including Satellite simulator software development lifecycle Spacecraft subsystems DHS, AOCS, Thermal, Electrical, Payload ECSS and CCSDS standards, especially ECSSE7041A Ops prep for EOLEO SSVT, LEOP, routine and contingency Capability to lead simulation campaigns and assess teams readiness for launch. Experience with the following would also be of advantage Working with agencies such as EUETSAT, ESA, ESOC, DLR, CNES Software support to TMTC database and OBSW images import CORTEX, Ground Models, Generic Models, REFA Change control and configuration management procedures.
