Slagle Retires as ABF Freight President; Thorne Takes Over

Roy Slagle has retired as president of less-than-truckload carrier ABF Freight System Inc. after 37 years with the company, parent ArcBest Corp. announced. "Roy's retirement is well-deserved after nearly four decades at ABF Freight," ArcBest CEO Judy McReynolds said in the Oct. 16 announcement.
