Intended for gas and diesel engines, Softstart Control option senses exact point at which friction surfaces contact, then rapidly reduces current to level that allows clutch to safely slip, but not release. Controller uses engine rpm feedback to adjust clutch current in manner that drives engine rpm to fit desired profile.
