Software Developer Concurrent Design Engineering

RHEA is currently recruiting a Software Engineer to support our Concurrent Design and Engineering CDE software development team in Diegem Brussels Belgium. Tasks and Activities RHEAs CDP product is an integrated set of tools for performing Concurrent Design activities. It is used by several space and nonespace companies for performing feasibility analysis and concept design of complex systems and System of Systems SoS in a multidisciplinary integrated approach, i.e. the Concurrent Design methodology. Next to the CDP RHEA will also perform development on the Open Concurrent Design Tool OCDT from the ESA Concurrent Design Facility CDF. Both OCDT and CDP are software platforms which enable to perform Concurrent Design activities. You will be working as one of the key software developers within a small and motivated CDE software team on the development of the CDP as well as OCDT in the frame of several key CDE related projects. Skills and Experience Bachelor degree in software engineering or equivalent At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in software engineering Experience in technical document writing notably, user requirements, design documentation, and test documentation Strong knowledge of objectoriented and serviceoriented design techniques Experience and proven expertise in C, WPF JSON UML MS Office and MS Office development macros, .NET interop Software development approaches and tools like SCRUM, continuous integration, unit testing, etc. Software Configuration Management SCM systems e.g. SubVersion, Git, etc. A clientoriented attitude and a willingness to provide user interaction and support A dynamic and proactive attitude, with a strong commitment to the ongoing development and quality of the CDE products Excellent communications skills, with very good written and spoken English Prior work experience with the following tools and domains will be advantageous Concurrent Design process and tools Space system engineering and design Operational software development. European Cooperation for Space Standardization ECSS standards Experience with the following technologies would be a plus SQL PostgreSQL XML Nodejs, javascript, coffeescript for webservices dev .NET VBC, VB6 MS Windows environment registry, COM, etc. How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
