It covers design, implementation, testing and maintenance updates of VLT and ELT dataflow applications. Specifically, the scope of the work is for dataflow applications related to Program Preparation, Program Selection, Observation Preparation, and Science Archive. The technical focus is on developing and testing REST APIs in JavaGroovy with a relational database backend and web user interfaces in AngularTypeScript. Further development of existing JavaSwing desktop GUI applications may also be required. Requirements Mandatory University degree in computer science, physics or equivalent. A good command of spoken and written English is essential. Familiarity with Agile software development process Very good oral and written communication skills Strong sense for quality development.
