This vacancy note concerns an onsite consulting position at ESTEC in Noordwijk in The Netherlands. Software Engineer 1511082 Job Description We are looking for a software engineer to support our client ESA based at their ESTEC site. You will be assigned to the EGSE and Ground Systems Section of the Software Systems Division. You will provide on demand expertise in activities related to EGSE systems Project such as EarthCare support on the procurement, development and utilisation of EGSE systems, including problem solving, interfaces with external systems and project reviews. Support on RD studies, specifically related to the European Ground System Common Core EGSCC, and Standardization activities in the EGSE domain Maintenance and future developments of the EGSE Reference Facility as part of the Software Systems Laboratory. This includes Integrating industrial elements in the EGSE reference facility and verifying their functioning in end to end scenarios, maintaining an EGSE software libraryconfiguration managementlab website, evaluate needs and generate requirements for enhancements Required Skills and Experience modern software engineering practices and standards applied to realtime systems.
