Software Engineer Senior Software Engineer for SNT Department MF Telespazio VEGA Deutschland has been supporting the European Space Industry for over 30 years, including ESA, DLR, EUMETSAT and CNES. We are looking for a degree educated engineer aerospace, mechanical or electrical engineering degree with software development training and experience to be responsible for the development and maintenance of spacecraft simulators or simulator infrastructure within our Simulation, Navigation Technology Department RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES As a team member contributing to the development, maintenance and validation of spacecraft simulators. QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE A university degree in aerospace, mechanical or electrical engineering Software development training and experience Knowledge of Spacecraft subsystems or payload and TMTC. Experience in programming and modelling ESSENTIAL SKILLS C and Java programming languages Modelling with UML Source Code Control System SVN or Git Basic Linux system administration, shell scripts, make, gcc Fluency in spoken and written English DESIRABLE SKILLS ECSS standards for space software development SIMSAT or SIMULUS experience Knowledge of LEON emulator, e.g. TSIM AOCS or GNC knowledge OBSW development or integration experience Eclipse IDE, RCP, RAP, Sirius Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Gerrit French language skills would be an advantage You must be eligible to live and work in the EU,the acquisition of a security clearance is mandatory for this position.
