Software Engineer Web Technologies 181040 Job Description We are looking for one or two Software Engineers with a focus on Web technologies to join our new Engineering Team in BielBienne, Switzerland. This position is also open to juniors and parttimers 50 to 100. If you are passionate about software technologies, enthusiastic about space, and you want a very versatile role in an international and distributed team, this is the position for you! Solenix is an independent and international company providing engineering and consulting services in the space market. Among our customers and partners are the European Space Agency ESA, NASA, EUMETSAT, as well as other space agencies. We are specialized in distributed systems and client applications, using modern technologies with a focus on high performing, robust and light solutions. Our Engineering Team is a group of motivated, dynamic and creative people who enjoy highquality work, as well as a relaxed and flexible work atmosphere. You will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle in current and future projects. You will work closely with other members of the Engineering Team in Switzerland and Germany. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor or Master in Computer Sciences, preferably with a focus on software engineering Proactive attitude with initiative and interest in challenging solutions Excellent communication skills in an international environment Fluency in English, both spoken and written particularly in technical documentation Knowledge and practical experience in the following technologies is required AngularJS andor Angular, and related tools NPM, webpack JavaScript, preferably also TypeScript HTML5, CSS3 RESTful Services including JSON and XML Desirable Skills and Experience User interface design Mobile platforms iOS and Android Continuous integration and delivery environments and their respective tools Developing in LinuxUnix environments Java software development Python and shell scripting Work Location BielBienne, Switzerland Dates Application Deadline 09 September 2018 Start of Work January 2019 Important Notes Before applying to this position, please read the page Notes to Applicants on the Solenix website under Career.
