Comprising UL 1699B-recognized, pre-integrated arc detection solutions, The Sensata PVAF series allows PV inverter and combiner box manufacturers to develop NEC 2011-compliant equipment. Products detect arcs while minimizing nuisance trips by identifying electrical noise signature created by arc faults in array wiring. While each detector monitors up to 4 PV strings, multiple detectors can run in parallel to monitor more strings or entire combiner box.
