Progress appears to be underway for Solazyme when it comes to its new food ingredient brand of AlgaVia. In Solazyme's latest conference call , management announced that the company had signed "an important customer" for AlgaVia's Whole Algal Flour product and that it had also signed with several large distributors including E.T. Horn, Univar, and FX Morales.
