Grid of tapped holes extends to within 0.5 in. of plate edges, while in-grid counter-bored holes and edge chamfers facilitate lifting, aligning, and integrating SA2 onto standard optical tables. While imperial standard models feature ¼-20 tapped holes on 1 in. grid, metric models feature M6 tapped holes on 25 mm grid.
