(Telecompaper) Sony announced a new addition to its premium smartphone line, the Xperia Z3+. Available from June, the Z3+ is a slimmer and lighter of the flagship Z3 launched last autumn. It comes with a slightly smaller 5.2-inch Full HD screen and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, with support for Cat 6 LTE at up to 300 Mbps and the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology. The Z3+ features the same 20.7MP camera with Exmor RS for mobile image sensor, BIONZ for mobile processing engine and a 25mm wide-angle G lens. The new 5MP front camera also comes with a 25mm wide-angle lens as well as full HD video. In addition, the X3+ supports PLayStation remote play and comes with access to the Xperia Lounge Gold entertainment service. The Z3+ will be available in a choice of four colours (black, white, copper, aqua green) and in single- and dual-Sim versions.
