South Lake Tahoe bag ban for retail shops in effect

Noah Incopero, 16, of South Lake Tahoe bags groceries into a reusable shopping bag at Raley's grocery store at the"Y." While grocery stores in South Lake Tahoe have been subject to the plastic bag ban for close to two years, as of Oct. 15 the ban also applies to retail stores.
