Southwest resumes takeoffs after computer glitch

A system-wide computer problem forced Southwest Airlines to ground its entire fleet of airplanes preparing for departures late Friday, and cancellations were expected even after service slowly resumed more than two hours later using a backup system, a company spokesman said.
