Position Reference 714 We are currently looking for several Space Segment Engineer to work in the beautiful city of Prague to support the Galileo Space Segment engineering and evolution activities. Galileo is Europes Global Navigation Satellite System GNSS, providing improved positioning and timing information with significant positive implications for many European services and users. The objective of this role is to support the ground segment engineering activities. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Review of the technical documentation and ensure consistency with system level documentation. Interface with industrial andor institutional player and service operator for aspects related to operability improvements to be injected in future industrial contract amendments. Participate to the space segment evolutions development reviews and CCB relevant to the tasks under herhis responsibility. Review of the technical documentation generated by technical assistance SETA team. Support the qualificationacceptance reviews. Analyse CRCCN relevant to space segment and support CCBs. Contribute to the analysis of anomalies raised by the service operator and participate to the relevant ARBNRB for aspects related to space segment. Support the preparation of requirements, launch, and manage the procurements for the space segment. Support the assessment of the performance of the space segment industrial contractors, through the review of the relevant KPIs and deliverables, and propose actions and improvements to address issues and opportunities. Prepare and support the development and deployment of space infrastructure related to additional EU space programme components. Support to launch campaign. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Masters Degree in Aerospace, Engineering or a relevant technical domain. A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a similar capacity. Experience in satellite programmes, Galileo will be a plus. Experience in space segment engineering andor Assembly Integration and Test AIT Excellent command of both written and spoken English. Organised, dynamic and proactive. Security clearance EU Secret will be necessary, therefore only nationals of the EU countries will be considered for this role. Ability to travel on missions when needed to other locations.
