The CAM Space department supports the Galileo project since the year 2000 and has a very strong presence of engineers at the Galileo Control Centre near Munich in Oberpfaffenhofen. We are now reinforcing our team in the Munich area. We are looking for you as SPACE SEGMENT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER MF Are you looking for a new and interesting activity in an outstanding project in the area of space segment? This could be your field of responsibility Anomaly investigation, root cause analysis and Anomaly Reports handling, including support to anomaly review boards Coordination with Space Segment experts on the resolution of anomalies Recommendations for workarounds to mitigate satellite anomalies Maintenance and update of operational documentations included spacecraft User manuals and Known Anomaly Databases, as well as training material Adapt procedures to new database and procedures delivered by industry Provide inputs for Operations and Engineering Reports Spacecraft Performance Analysis including the generation, screening, assessment and processing of the satellite trend reports Provide inputs for lifetime estimation Support database tuning, including definition of OOLs Spacecraft Engineering Analysis to support Customer driven requests Support improvements of Space Segment maintenance process and procedures Provide Level 2 Space Segment onconsole support for special operations Provide Level 2 Space Segment support for SCTC campaigns Provide oncall support Coordination of the Level 3 Space Segment support Your profile requires Minimum Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline A minimum of 3 years of experience in space projects at industry level Experience in satellite engineeringdevelopment andor AIT tasks at industry is mandatory Experience in spacecraft design and manufacturing Expert knowledge of at least one of the satellite subsystems Experience in spacecraft operations would be an asset Good level of spoken and written English Good communication and negotiation skills Good analytical skills and high flexibility Team player and stress resilient EU citizen We offer Focused Training and performanceoriented career development Competitive remuneration Opportunity to work in exciting challenging international projects In case you find our offer attractive please send your application documents via Email.
