Job Description What we offer if you join our amazing team Competitive Salary Corporate Benefits Package Exciting relocation package if applicable Company events Main Responsibilities As Spacecraft Operation Engineer Attitude Orbit Control System you will join our future Flight Operation teams within Earth Observation service contract. We will be supporting different missions, so depending on your knowledge and expertise the specific mission will be offered during the recruitment campaign. You will concentrate your activities on the following Be in charge of operating the spacecraft Attitude and Orbit Control subsystem assigned as Prime and be backup on another subsystem to be defined depending on the specific mission Execution of operational procedures and special operations requests during all mission phases Operational Procedure generationupdate under the strict configuration control Support the execution of Ground Segment and Satellite testing, and take the role of Test Coordinator Be in charge of maintaining one or more elements of the Ground System infrastructure to be defined depending on the specific mission Daily monitoring of the space and ground segment elements of responsibility to assess health and performances, and identify trends and anomalies Participation and execution of the tasks related to the defined subsystem during the LEOP, Commissioning and End of Mission campaigns. Maintenance and generation of relevant FOS documentation Generation of requests for Mission Database updates and validation of such updates Supporting the configuration and validation of the OnBoard Software Provide Oncall support based on the defined rota Deliver technical inputs to the Team Coordinator in the required area Successful Candidate Do you think you are the person we are looking for? See below what experience or knowledge you should bring Fully proficient in Spacecraft System knowledge, with proven experience in operational environment Knowledge of the design and basic operations of AOCS sensors and actuators Knowledge of precise orbit determination and control is a strong plus Previously in charge of any subsystem AOCS or DHS engineer in other missions will be an asset Proficiency on satellite attitude and orbit control sensors and actuators operations is an asset Experience within the ESOC environment is a strong asset Proficient knowledge in Mission Control system, Preparation and execution of the ground segment test Proven experience in anomalies investigation and resolution, report generation Excellent written and communication skills Previous experience in LEOP campaign will be an asset Important Any offer of employment is contingent upon you providing documents to verify your identity and employment eligibility, as required by law.
