Spain's August car sales jump 23% in 24th consecutive month of growth

Spanish new-car sales rose 23.3 percent to 55,918 in August marking 24 consecutive months of growth in the market, car dealers' federation Faconauto said today in a statement released jointly with vehicle makers' association ANFAC. Last month was the best August for car sales volume since 2009 and the growth figure was the highest in August for 16 years, the two groups said.
